Alive we cannot unknow knowledge
yet with death it’s all wiped clean.
To enable us all to start afresh
without memory of what has been.
I find it hard to believe in an angel’s
Heaven where all our souls unite, nor
can I believe in an endless hell that punishes
those who didn’t do right
